The re-spotted black

If the scores are level when the final black goes down, the frame is not drawn. The black goes back on its spot, the players decide who plays first, usually by a toss, and that player starts with the cue ball in hand in the D. The next score or foul wins the frame.

How it plays

  1. 1The black is re-spotted
  2. 2A toss decides who plays first
  3. 3The first player places the cue ball anywhere in the D
  4. 4Pot the black and you win; foul and you lose
