Swiss

In a Swiss event nobody is knocked out. Each round, players with the same record are drawn together, so winners meet winners, and nobody plays the same opponent twice. After a set number of rounds, the best record wins.

How it works

  1. 1Round one is drawn by rating
  2. 2Each later round pairs players on the same points
  3. 3Nobody meets the same player twice
  4. 4An odd number means one bye a round, counted as a win

Ties

Players level on points are split by the strength of the players they met, then by frames.
