Six-red snooker
Six-red is snooker with six reds instead of fifteen. Everything else is the same: a red then a colour, the colours in order at the end. The maximum break is 75, and a frame takes around half the time.
The numbers
Six reds with six blacks is 48, plus 27 for the colours: 75. Points left with reds up: 8 a red plus 27.
When to use it
Club nights, handicap events and anything where a full frame takes too long.
